COMPOST WORMS

African Night Crawlers

The use of earthworms for organic waste management is growing steadily in Trinidad and Tobago. The African Nightcrawler (Eudrilus eugeniae) is the most widely utilized species locally. Other compost worms include the Indian blue (Perionyx excavatus) and the California Red Wiggler (Eisenia fetida).

We supply pure culture compost worms for vermicomposting, animal protein, or any other desired use. A pound of adult African Night Crawlers typically has approximately 450-550 worms. A pound of red wigglers has approximately 800 – 1000 worms.
